How Do Cards and Jokers Work in Travel Town?

Seasonal cards unlock at level 17. Finish the album and you can Go Premium to complete it again, up to twice a season, and your first two completions come with free card packs.

• Trading: Only duplicates can be traded, and only with Facebook friends who have Seasonal Cards unlocked. Link the game to Facebook, tap a card with a “+number” badge and pick a friend, who then claims it from their card inbox. Golden and Flame cards can’t be traded, and there is a daily limit on how many cards you can send. For trades beyond your friends list, the game runs an official Facebook trading group.
• Jokers: Jokers come from promotions and events such as Mission Events and Daily Challenges. A regular Joker turns into any missing card except a Golden one, while a Golden Joker works on Golden cards too. You can save a Joker for later, but it expires. The Stars Shop also has chests that can hold one.
• Stars: Stars only come from duplicates you pull in packs. Cards you get through trades or from a Joker don’t give any.

Can’t see your friends in the trade list? Remove Travel Town under Apps and Websites in your Facebook settings, restart the game and allow the Friends List permission when it asks. If someone still doesn’t show up, they may not have cards unlocked yet or may be on an old version of the game.

Did Producers and Auto Orders Change in Travel Town?

Nothing official points to a change in Auto Orders. They still appear one at a time to clear max-level items sitting idle on your board, and they skip items a regular order needs, items you don’t have enough of and chains that don’t use Auto Orders. Producers did get something new in a recent update: as you tap them, they can now drop a Producer Excitement gift, sometimes holding an item you need for an order, and the more you tap, the more chances you get. Special rewards like this can also count toward event goals such as Weekly Goals. Some minor producers were cut from their chains earlier and swapped for items worth the same energy, with no progress lost.
